Darren Lowry

Darren Lowry is an oncology pharmaceutical and market access professional with nearly 20 years of experience across specialty distribution, group purchasing organizations, pharmaceutical manufacturing, account management, and buy-and-bill reimbursement. Throughout his career, Darren has held oncology and specialty-focused roles with Eugia Pharmaceuticals, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Cardinal Health, and McKesson. He has built longstanding relationships with community oncology practices and other healthcare stakeholders and developed a reputation for translating complex contracting, reimbursement, and marketplace dynamics into practical business strategies.

Darren currently serves as Senior Analyst with Athena Oncology, where he advises on pharmaceutical contract performance, product utilization, and market opportunities. He works closely with executive leadership to evaluate contracting strategies and provide analysis that supports both organizational priorities and the objectives of member practices.

His experience across distribution, GPOs, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and oncology networks gives Darren a unique perspective on the oncology marketplace and the business challenges facing community oncology practices. He is a graduate of Belmont University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Journalism.
